Strongsville City School District – Pat Catan Stadium

CBLH Design was commissioned for the design of two field houses and the entrance plaza for the Pat Catan Stadium Project for the Strongsville City Schools by Mr. Mike Catan, a local business owner in the City of Strongsville. Mr. Catan, president of Darice Inc., set his sights on privately raising funds to build a new football stadium for the school system and city.

This project cost approximately $1.5 million dollars and was funded by donations from other local business owners and residents who wanted to make this long time dream a reality. Pat Catan Stadium was built adjacent to the High School and replaced Taliak Field, located behind the Middle School, which was nearly fifty-years old and was in need of major repair or replacement for several years. The new stadium has seating for 5,000 spectators with the ability to expand up to 7,000 in the future.
