Cuyahoga Falls Public Library
Phase 1 Addition and Renovation
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
Cuyahoga Falls Library, built in 1971 and added onto in 1988, commissioned CBLH Design to create a multi-year master plan for renovation and additions.
Phase 1 of the master plan was completed in the summer of 2006. This phase included the additions and renovation to the front entry to the existing library. This phase enhanced and consolidated staff service space and administration. The project also provided an automobile service window. Within the renovated lobby are information centers and self service holds and check-out equipment.
Finishes, colors and textures used in the design were developed to assist the Library’s marketing team. While the building was being designed, the Library’s logo and corporate colors were re-branded.
