EMH Regional Healthcare System opened a Wellness Center in the City of Avon. CBLH Design was able to assist this progressive healthcare system in expanding the services offered on the Avon campus by designing an outpatient emergency center to bring quality emergency care to this growing community.

New services include: an advanced triage process, 18 treatment spaces including a trauma room, ENT room, OB treatment room, 2 Pediatric rooms, 4 Clinical Decision Unit rooms and an enclosed sallyport for environmentally-controlled transport of patients. Every effort has been taken to maximize the clinical areas to take advantage of the existing Wellness Center and to provide comfortable accommodations to patients while respecting the System's set budget.
