CBLH Design, Inc., was selected by United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland to design its new 40,000 square foot Learning Center which is the headquarters for the organization. The building is a teaching facility for people with special needs from early childhood education to adult vocational training. The childhood and adult programs feature large activity spaces, several classroom settings and ample support staff areas. The second floor provides office space for both UCP and other tenants.

A unique aspect of this project is the shared programs which include such activities as: adaptive technology using computers to foster interaction and self-esteem, a swimming pool for therapy/recreation purposes and a state-of-the-art conference center for future communications. This center is the first of its kind in the area to unite both children and adult programs. The result is a friendly, interactive place for people to learn and work.
