Cuyahoga Community College - Eastern Campus
Student Activity Zone
Highland Hills, Ohio

CBLH Design is currently working with WTW Architects on a $17 million renovation for the Student Activity Zone. The primary components will relocate, intensify and connect key places of activity such as the Library, Learning Commons (TLC), “One Stop” for Student Services, Student Life activity lounge spaces and other supporting uses such as the Book Store and Dining.

Relocating and reconfiguring the student services into a “One-Stop” facility will provide convenience, efficiency and enhanced services to the students.  The transformation of this student center into an active student gathering place will bring a new sense of community into the campus.

The goal of this project is to provide the students with the necessary support spaces to successfully complete a college degree.  Supporting active learning requires varied spaces that include: group study, individual study, access to technology, social space and academic success support areas.
