The City of North Olmsted
Master Plan Study
North Olmsted, Ohio
CBLH Design prepared a Master Plan Solution for the City of North Olmsted in 2001. This graphic solution is based on a comprehensive Master Plan prepared in 1992 by the City of North Olmsted Planning Commission and the Cuyahoga County Planning Commission. This is the first Master Plan that has been developed for the City in twenty years.
CBLH Design studied documents that were prepared for the City to create a graphic plan describing direction for future growth of the city. This vision is intended to guide the City in several phases, the first being short term goals for five to ten years. The next phase addresses intermediate goals of 20 years, with the last phase looking forward to long range planning for the next fifty to seventy-five years. The plan accounts for residential, park, education, civic, retail/business and industrial zones and how they work together successfully creating the fabric that makes up the City of North Olmsted.
